WELSHPOOL Sharks Swimming Club is based at The Flash Leisure Centre, Salop Road, not far from the centre of Welshpool in Powys, Mid Wales. This Welshpool swimming club has been established for over a forty years. Training sessions take place every Monday. Wednesday and Friday.
We are always on the look out for new members to join our club. If you are interested in joining please drop us a message or email our secretary who will put you in contact with the relevant people.
The Flash
Welshpool
Training takes place at The Flash where there is a 25m pool with anti-wave lane ropes to make 4 lanes. We have also invested in new starting blocks with adjustable wedges and backstroke wedges. So training for competitions is as realistic as possible. We do also have a couple of fun sessions throughout the year and we use the other facilities within the pool, the slide, jacuzzi and rapids.
